Is my information uploaded anywhere?
No. Your details and photo stay in your browser and the PDF is built on your own device. A draft is saved in your browser's local storage so you can come back later; use Clear everything to remove it.
Is the PDF text selectable?
Yes. The CV is a real text PDF, not a picture, so it can be searched, copied and read by applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Which design should I pick for online applications?
Use the ATS-friendly design when applying through company portals or recruiting software. It has no colours, columns or graphics to confuse automatic parsers. Use the other designs when you send the CV directly to a person.
Can I make a CV in Arabic?
Yes. Write your details in Arabic and the CV switches to a right-to-left layout with Arabic headings. You can also force the language in step 2. Mixed English and Arabic text works too.
Can I add a photo?
Yes, in the designs marked Photo. The image is cropped to a circle in your browser. The ATS-friendly and Classic designs have no photo.
How long should my CV be?
One page is ideal for under ten years of experience, two pages at most for senior roles. Keep bullet points short and focus on results, such as numbers, savings or growth.
