Everything you need to mark up a PDF

Edit text in place

Click any existing line of text to change the wording, size, font, or color — not just add new text on top.

Draw, highlight, erase

Freehand pen and highlighter tools, plus an eraser for covering up anything you want gone, including old pictures.

Add or replace pictures

Drop in a PNG, JPEG, GIF or WEBP, then drag and resize it. You can also pull an existing picture out of the page and resize that instead.

Pages, your way

Rotate, delete, or insert blank pages from the thumbnail rail, with full undo support at every step.

Merge PDFs

Combine any number of PDFs into one file with our dedicated merge tool — drag to reorder them first, then download the combined result.

Links and formatting

Bold, italic, a real font picker, and clickable links to URLs, email addresses, phone numbers, or another page in the same document.

Private by design

Your file is opened and edited entirely in your browser tab. It's never sent to a server, so there's nothing to wait on and nothing to worry about.

Frequently asked questions

Is this really free?

Yes. There's no account, no subscription, no page limit, and no watermark added to your downloaded file. The site is supported by the advertising you may see around the editor.

Do you store or see my PDF?

No. The file you open never leaves your device — it's read, edited, and re-saved directly in your browser. We don't have a copy, and we can't see its contents.

What file types can I add to a page?

You can drop in PNG, JPEG, GIF, or WEBP images. Anything other than PNG/JPEG is automatically converted for you behind the scenes.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes — the editor supports touch for dragging, resizing, and drawing, in addition to mouse and trackpad input.

Is there a size or page limit?

No hard limit is enforced by the tool itself, though very large PDFs will naturally take longer to render since everything runs on your own device's processing power rather than a server.
