Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The file is opened and displayed in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server.

How does dark mode work for PDFs?

The page is drawn normally and then its colours are inverted, so white paper becomes dark and black text becomes light. Dark keeps a softer contrast. Night is a deeper, true-black version for reading in a dark room. Photos in the PDF are inverted too.

What is sepia mode?

A warm, paper-like tint that is easier on the eyes than bright white, good for long reading.

Does it remember my page?

Yes. On this device it remembers the page where you stopped for each file, and your chosen theme.

Can I read large PDFs?

Yes. Only the pages near the screen are drawn, so even long documents open quickly and use little memory.

Does it change the PDF file?

No. The colours only change on your screen. The file itself is never modified, and printing or downloading the original is unaffected.

Which keys work?

Left and right arrows move between pages, plus and minus zoom, and D switches theme.
