Free Online Whiteboard: Sketch Diagrams and Export to PDF

PDFly guide ยท Updated October 2026

Sometimes you just need to draw a box and an arrow. A full design tool is too much, and a pen and paper cannot be shared. PDFly's Whiteboard is an endless canvas in your browser for quick diagrams, flowcharts and notes, with a friendly hand-drawn look.

What you can draw

Getting around quickly

Single-key shortcuts select the tools: V select, R rectangle, D diamond, O ellipse, A arrow, L line, P draw, T text, E eraser and K laser pointer. Use Ctrl+Z to undo, Ctrl+D to duplicate and the mouse wheel with Ctrl to zoom. Hold Space and drag to move around.

Present with the laser pointer

Press K, hold the mouse down and move. A red trail follows your pointer and fades after a second. It never becomes part of the drawing, so it is perfect for pointing at parts of a diagram during a call or a lesson.

Save and share your work

Private by design

Nothing is uploaded. The drawing lives in your browser, and there is no account. On a shared computer, use Clear canvas when you finish.
